Ahvenisto has actually Fia Grade.

Alastaro Grade 4 had nothing special in it. And yes, both Alastaro and Ahvenisto got it because SMP wanted their series to be run on internationally licensed circuits...

How ever, that wasn't necessary per regulations, as SMP F4 is/was a zone event (NEZ championship) and not an international series. So national track inspections are OK, and no FIA grade is needed.

FIA track inspections of Alastaro and Ahvenisto were likely valid for one year only. And as they don't host any international events, there was no point to pay for renewal.

And how exactly can you know this? I guess it had one but doesn't have anymore. Just like Alastaro.

Why do both have two "Pole Position for Standing Starts" lines, and one is Left and the other Right?

I think pole position for standing starts is usually on inside for first turn (unless track license states otherwise (a rare occasion where it's more profitable to start outside (like auto24ring where the first rightsider is part of the main straight and the first real turn is left))). On rolling starts, who ever has the "pole position" may choose to start on out- or in-side. As far as I know, this is somewhat standard procedure at European racing circuits.

Yeah, but both are listed as "Pole Position for Standing Start." On both forms.

I happen to know that, Ahvenisto grade will expire in the end of 2019.

Ah, I see... didn't quite get that previously. I must say I have no idea why both sides are listed as pole positions.

I don't know about auto24ring; but I have never seen a standing start at Ahvenisto where the pole position was outside (left).

Right in the midst of what grading a Finnish race track might have and where pole position starts from there is an updated to the STCC field for 2017:

LMS Racing has confirmed enter one Audi RS3 TCR in STCC, with the possibility of two.

Confirmed entries so far:

PWR Racing - 3 SEAT, drivers not confirmed
Lestrup Racing - 1 VW Golf, Albin Wärnelöw
LMS Racing - 1 Audi A3, driver not confirmed

Possible entries:

Lestrup Racing - 1 VW Golf, Fredrik Blomstedt. Confirmed as a work in progress
LMS Racing - 1 Audi A3, team has confirmed they are looking at the possibility to enter a second car.

Rumors:

1-2 cars from Bennys, a Carrera Cup team
1-3 SEAT from PWR through cooperation with an unnamed team (Brink Motorsport a possibility, a V8 Thundercars team another possibility)

Nice to see the new Audi in STCC.

Although they are all Volkswagen group so far it's good that they're not all Seats.

One rumour talks about a temporary circuit in Örebro.
Skövde is missing from last year so it could also return.

Are International TCR-series going to adapt RWD cars?

A Rear Wheel Drive Mercedes are going to participating in the TCR-finale race 2016 in Macau 20 Nov 2016.

Drivers Adam Morgan and William Lok are going to drive rear wheel drive Mercedes!

http://www.touringcartimes.com/2016/...f-william-lok/

Are International TCR series like TCN2 to allow Rear Wheel Drive Cars in the future?

Good Rear Wheel drive car for TCN2 rules are;

Alfa Romeo Giulia
BMW
Mercedes
Cadillac ATS
Infiniti Q50
Lexus IS200
Subaru

Can International TCR-series say no to Rear Wheel Drive Cars, from this car brands, TCR-series need more car brands?

The Macau race is open for other cars than TCR.
The Mercedes is from Chinese Touring Car Championship.

IMO most likely LMS drivers are:

- Antti Buri (may also choose to act as team manager only)
- Joonas Lappalainen (Audi TT Cup champ. whos dad runs a Formula STCC team)
- Emil Westman (took part in one ADAC TCR race with LMS)

And for the possible second car:

- Kari-Pekka Laaksonen (to help balance the budget)
- Antti Buri...

It says nothing about it the cars going specificially to a team in TCR Scandinavia:

Quote:
The Honda Civics, successfully campaigned to 12 race wins and ten podiums by the WestCoast Racing-Sportpromotion team in the first two years of the flourishing TCR International Series, will go with Sportpromotion into national and regional TCR championships.

Confirmation about one of the Sport Promotion cars: http://www.mynewsdesk.com/se/stcc-ab...lmaerke-201567

Will be driven by Clio Cup champion Marcus Annervi. Greger says at least two of the Hondas will be in STCC and they're hoping for the third as well.

It's Greger Petersson's company. They have been around forever in motorsport. Look at the old Group A Volvo 240s and you'll see the logo.

To answer the question, a very serious company with some serious financial muscle.

Greger's private collection is pretty nice: https://youtu.be/kkvIQuNGs6k
