He said Rock 'n' Roll yesterday.....yet again!

I was reading an Autosport 2002 season preview on Friday, in which James Allen writes an article. Here are some extracts:

"I'm incredibly excited about the season ahead, not just because I'm replacing Murray Walker aas the 'voice of Formula 1' either!"

"The other big change you will notice this year is that it will be me alongside Martin Brundle in the ITV commentary box!
It's a huge challenge for Martin and I to try to take our coverage of the sport on from here but we believe we can do it! Even though it will take time...." (you can say that again. )

"People keep asking me what line I will use at the start of the race to replace the classic 'And it's Go! Go! Go!', but in truth you don't start out on a job like this with a book of pre-planned phrases. It must be spontaneous and it must be genuine."

You're right James......yet you actually have done the complete opposite of this and sound like a weak little boy with a small batch of phrases written on the back of a postage stamp and sound about as spontaneous as autocue. And you certainly aren't genuine mate.

Rock 'n'n Roll and all that.

Wasn't Barrichello's nose piece also apparently to provide more air to his brain?

"Sato crosses the line to claim pole postion" I think 3rd place hey!

"Something went wrong there" Alonso spins out after puncture - well thanks James I thought he was doing a 360 for bonus points!

I was quite dissapointed by the whole commentary team today, they seem tot hink the Indy is surrounded by a concrete wall.

Brundle is brilliant.
Good enough to lead that programme for 2 hours on his own. the reast are merely topping up their airline gold cards.

Did we really need to know about 'Dev's health problems on Coronation St'? I know it was for a tenuous link, but still..........
