Essex Arena Bangers: question please
I am trying hard to find an owner of an old Lola race car I hillclimb.
His name is Dennis Humphries, and he was active at the Arena in the early 70's. Does anyone on here know the name or a contact or anything about Dennis' motorsport activities please? He used to run a garage in Herne Bay, and ran a small team of FF 2000 cars and my Lola. Any info much appreciated. |

I can't help with any up to date info, but I do remember Dennis. He raced briefly in Mini 7 in 1977, doing four races at Brands and Lydden with the ex-Jim Mancey car. I remember him being an ex-PRI Banger man and my notes at the time suggested he was from Canterbury. But I'm afraid I have nothing more recent.
