what do you like to see in as F1 Race driver ?
I was just thinking about this , and i have to say it would be a boring world if we all liked the same things and had the same opinions ,
..so .. What are the main ingredients you like to see in a Formula 1 driver ?. |

I don't know about that, I daresay some spend more time/effort grooming facial hair than those baldies who scrape it all off their face every morning.

A good attitude towards racing. Fair, clean but not giving an inch. Daring to try an overtaking maneuver. And always ready to get into the car, even after a 320 kph shunt. With a personality and an opinion. Not a clone.

Good point - some of JPM's whines would sound all the more convincing in a Brummie accent...

Someone mentioned Innes Ireland....I booked a B&B near Snetterton about three/four years ago and after reversing the van & trailer down a very tight path we went in and the hallway was full of motorsport memoribilia and pics and cups and so on from the 50's & 60s' - And so was the rest of the house...
Turned out that the lady of the house was Innes Irelands first wife and she had loads of stuff from his racing days...... Wonder if the place is still there and still a B & B.... |
