MGCC Cadwell 14 July

Another great day at Cadwell with the MGCC, even had the sunshine this afternoon. Some good racing, good marshalling, excellent course car driving, all wonderfully put together by those lovely people at the MGCC.
Thanks John for heading up the marshals team as always

What happened in the 2nd Trophy race Race 7 or 8 I think, as there are no results on the MST web site. Was there an incident or protest ?

Thanks to all the marshals - I was busy with a sticking (wide open) thottle
and retired without finishing from the All-Comers.

Good day - hope it made up for some of the atrocious recent weather, and that the Sunday didn't make that worse.

Well done to the MGCC for a great days racing, complete with early finish and time at lunch to wander round and see everything.

Yeah, cheers to all involved. A really good day, all the better for the sunshine. Well done whoever booked that! I hope those of you who stayed for the Sunday meeting have dried out again by now! (at least if it rained as much there as it did here on Sunday)

Sunday we had a few spots of rain and that was about it, not even enough to make the track damp. Sounds like we were lucky though!

On behalf of the MG Car Club and myself, grateful thanks for all your help and support in making sure that we had yet another most successful Meeting that ran like clockwork. To all of you who were there, you were just 'Brilliant' many thanks for what you did.

All in all, a good day with a very reasonable finish time and a lunch break. This was achieved in spite of the Southern interference from the Course Car driver, and after really struggling to find the Circuit, (He was the Navigator!), I did have my doubts about his capabilities of finding his way round the Circuit!!!!! He certainly didn't find his way to the Tea Urn!

So once again, I thank you and hope to see you all at Snetterton for our 2 day meeting. Take care.
