While I agree, I just don't see Whincup losing it from here, especially considering the strength of his team mates and his experience in winning titles.
And while its hard to argue that Scotty 'deserves' the title based off your stats, Ingall won a title with just two race wins over a year, and the next year Rick did it with just one win, so speed doesnt always equal titles. The locals look like theyre getting into the spirit:
