 i like the look, mix of park lands & street. a fair few passing zones, 1000x better then the crappy Homebush track. |

No runoff worth the name, and concrete walls as far as the eye can see in some sections. To my eyes, that final sector looks awfully narrow since it's been lined with concrete walls.
The view from the grassy mounds on the back section of the circuit should be pretty good! |

This circuit is a cracka, we will see some great racing here. The final section is definitely not for the faint hearted but passing opportunities exist. Weather will be fine and dandy, bring your shorts to the sunny north. Of interest in that the local Rotary club is raffling of the HSV course car being used for this round, the first in town. $100.00 buys a ticket 2000 sold only and the proceeds to The V8 supercar charity of Camp Quality. Car will have a certificate of authenticity attached. I believe this donated by Tony Ireland Holden. Bring your cash and take home a piece of Townsville history. Visit www.2000to1.com.au.

From what I can see of the track, the pit entry road would be one of the longest going around. I doubt you are going to see quick pit stops?
