WOW!!! Huge congrats to Mitch Evans....2nd race win in gp2 and he won the race from 15th on the grid!
Ritchie in gp3 not so good in race 1. But watching Mitchs race just blew me away.
I wonder if tv1 or tv3 will cover this in 2nites news....one would expect tv3 to have a story on it, while tv1 will no doubt show men in shorts chasing a ball that isn't ball shaped.
GO MITCH.... woohoo!

Watch the news on TV3, I believe you'll see the podium that Sky cut off.

That win was a game-changer for Mitch and I think you'll see better, more consistent results going forward. He has a new engine and the team really seem to have flicked the switch. Put it this way, I sure hope I'm right. Roll on Race 2!

Well he has won 2 of the last 3 races. Late season charge coming up. Will be tuned in tonight, and just after the GP3 race. Also Eral Bamber is up as well just before the GP. Think he qualified 4th?

Good to hear, but to be fair Chinese Formula Masters isnt at GP2/3 Level but it has to start someplace and racing in Asia is getting better each year

Yeah, and at this stage in his career GP3 would be bridge too far, in many ways. He is getting good seat time and racing miles before his second year in TRS. After that who knows. . . .I'm sure everyone wishes him all the best.

Hopefully Mitch can make it to Position 7 or 8 and give himself a front row start for race two. Pretty hard to pass at the Hungaroring.

Stanaway has Qualifying and Race tonight. His teams cars are well down in Free Practice so looking for an improvement.

Dont Forget Earl Bamber is therre as well. He raced in the Supercup round there last year and has raced there already this year in Porsche Carrera Germany so not short of Miles around that track.

Mitch Evans made it into the top 3 and will start on the clean side of the rack behind the Pole sitter, so big night tonight on the couch.
