sandow will be a week latter as that date will clash with the AFL, it may be even two weeks latter

it will most likely be september the 9th next year. Same week as finals week 1. However as 7 and 10 are sharing finals next year and the format is not yet known it could change. I definately wont be on september 2 next year, as peckstar has said above the 2nd is the last round of the home and away season, with 7 showing 2 games.

What about the 6 week mid season break they are talking about. Will that eventuate. There will some very frustrated punters by the end of that 6 weeks.

I just wanted to bring this up to the top because the 2007 Calendar will be anounced very soon. I didn't want to have to look for it for hours in just over a week.

I hear that teams are making tentative bookings for Winton on a weekend that, going by mabs' calendar has a race meeting scheduled at an entirely different racetrack. Do they know something??

A couple of points.

Phillip Island in June will be as deserted as a Vic SRS round in June....

And potentially shows the typical commonsense that VE$A employ when running R 1 & 2 in the March heat of Adelaide & Perth....

Mab's the tablets don't seem to be working there Brother, the only China you will see associated with TC & VE$A next year will be on the table of the restaurant TC has lunch at.
(Pity Mick Gatto doesn't invite him to La Porchella in Carlton one day)

If the Black Wiggle ever considered listening to "the people", he would realise that Early May in the Northeast of Victoria is a wonderful time, the nights are crisp, but the days are fine & warm, and the Winton circuit looks wonderful, crammed to pussy's bow with about 35,000 crazed V8 supercar ferals....

The rest of it is ho-hum, but you clearly forgot Townsville, I mean enough electrons have been wasted on this forum alone to suggest that the deal is a foregone conclusion....

The Skidmark 300 is still shaky, post 2006, and unless Mr Teabagger sells his bumpy, boring god-forsaken track to VESA by years end, the DuckPond 400 will need to find a new home.

Lets not even contemplate Bahrain in 2007 after the launch of Nuclear weapons in the Middle East in the week preceding Ramadan (17 Sept).

So, Mab's old chap, overall, your fantasy calendar for 2007 was not worth me (or any others that replied) wasting brain power on....

Roll on 2007 World Pigeon Racing Championships, where having $500 on the nose, and being beaten by a short half head is too damm close for even their IPO to call..... ( IPO: Independent Pigeon Officer)

UC,
Pigeon Racing has it's own parity issues as 'Wendy' always wins by a nose since she looks like her owner, Phantom Lawry.

So we get the NRL grand final on the Sunday night after the Bathurst race?

I hope the Wests Tigers dont make it in 2007 then, or I might have to make a different decision than going to Bathurst!!
