tblincoe should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
ALMS Rnd 4: Lime Rock 2-4 Jul 2005

ALMS returns to racing this weekend at Lime Rock... should be an interesting race with a lot of story lines.

For a little catch-up and a preview, check out my preview article over at the-paddock.net: http://www.the-paddock.net/index.php...eafaed1d2dd735

what's everyone's feeling for this race? close racing in all of the classes should make this a great way to spend part of your holiday weekend...

Well this is about as close as road racing can get to a bullring one mile oval race for some of the roundy roundy folks out there. The grid should be pretty tight overall and racing will be fierce with a higher chance of potential contact.

The Champion vs. Dyson battle will rage on at full force at this event. The championship race is tight in LMP1 and should not disappoint here. Watching these four cars dice through traffic on this tight track will be awesome.

Terrible entry (numbers not quality).

Thankfully theres plenty of light at the end of the tunnel in 2006.

Should be a battle in all classes. Really hoping for another Dyson win!!!

What happened to Intersport? I have a strong feeling it is money, since Le Mans was really covered by others, wasn't it?

Also hoping for another strong run by the Esperante.

B05/40 just cleared customs yesterday, and needs work so it's been sent to Dublin. All other chassis have not been prepped. (Bit of an oversight I'd think, but I guess the plan was not to run those cars again in anger)

Yes, the numbers are disappointing, but the weather looks great and free tickets help as well
Since nobody replied to my thread in trackside-is anyone going? I plan to be around the chicane at about 10:45 on Saturday and Sunday for any proposed meet-ups..

Ben Devlin did a great job in the Lola B2K of van der steur.. beating out the Courage Mazda in P2. Pretty close in qualifying and should be very interesting to see what happens on Monday between Dyson and Champion. GT2 should be a pretty good race as well.

Why beat a dead horse?

Having said that, it looks like the most promising class going forward.
