356s seem to go quite well on the grass, Colin, looking at one of the other pics....

Great pics, thanks! A treat for those of us sadly not there to watch.

Got to have a go in a 500 before I get too old......

At least in that pic you're in better shape than the guy in the Elan behind you

Gutted I didn't make it to Oulton this weekend......after Donny on Saturday I'd somehow damaged my shoulder so couldn't comfortably drive. Looks like you all had a great weekend

Its taken a while to respond to that, had to get dry pants.

The new RR sport could be competitive, but by the time of the next race will probably have been surpassed by the latest 'historic development'

Typical. The first properly dry, warm and relatively storm free Gold Cup in some years and I couldn't be there even for my traditional one day Monday!

Darn it.

Well done everyone on track and great shots brands.

Maybe a finish in the Arnott next time Iain? Then a win to follow up?

You never know.

Mike, you are probably not old enough yet. Wait a few more years and the time will come to you ....

That's 2 Gold Cups in a row for me now. Love Oulton Park and some great machinery being pedalled around! Sadly could only make the Sunday but racing straight through from 12 was fine by me! A very friendly paddock, spoke to a few guys on my morning wander around, great stuff.

A few pics here - http://www.ae-photography.co.uk/albu...n-park-photos/

I like these 2, all for a "racing" shot you know

Until next year

cheers
Az

GSD should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Just stumbled across this fantastic footage of the Derek Bell Trophy race from onboard the Dwyer F2 car. A great demonstration of f5000 v f1 v f2, and very close driving of such powerful and wide cars on a difficult track. Thought that maybe some others here may want to watch the action from the best seat in the house. For me this represents the DBT at its best.
