bardy66 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Daytona

This has probably been asked several times in the past.

I am thinking of going over to see the Daytona 500, I have looked at a few tour packages has anyone got any advise or tips?

With the "Daytona Rising" project, you will not see Daytona as it has always been. They have completely torn out/down all of the original seating and pretty much the entire front stretch grandstands. The racing surface will be the same as always. I wish I could give you some tips, but what I knew is gone. A couple of things that will not change. Get your seats as high up in the grandstand as possible, always a better view of the track. Wear ear plugs. Stock cars are LOUD and can damage hearing! Have a GREAT time!

Well dang. You will get there! The improvements seem
to have made it a seriously fun destination point to look
forward to.

I went a few weeks ago for the 24 hours, it is a seriously impressive venue.

I watched the live streaming of the 24hrs, it does look an impressive venue. Me and a buddie are determined to get there next year, already looking at our options...

Hearing or seeing the word DANG always makes me smile. I stayed with a friend in Texas a few years back and that was a word I heard all the time...

It's definitely one of the easiest and cheapest to do, probably more so with the 24 hours. Obviously I can't comment on the 500 but I'd love to do that one day too.

Would like to do the 24hr one day, but the 500 has to be first. Yes a few companies do good deals from the UK for Daytona, so we are weighting up our options..

Congrats! Feb. 2017 will be here before you know it.
Make sure you bring a scanner or rent one at the track.
