Thanks to a day off work sick I found this film of Group C racing at Brands Hatch in 1984. Really gives a great impression of what group C was really like back then when we had 2 world championship races in the UK each year

If you have a spare 21 minutes this is quite fun. It's Leh Keen in a 1974 911 at the 2014 LM Classic. It's really interesting to see how much time a pro can make up on braking and cornering compared to some of the weekend warriors who leave him for dead on the straights in their 935s and prototypes etc.
It also has a great camera position, so not only can you see exactly what he is doing, you can also see what's coming up behind in the right hand wing mirror.
And it ends with some night running in the wet, during a practice section, which is pretty hairy, especially approaching Mulsanne.

PS: not too sure about the kneecap-crushing roll cage though.

I agree, I thought the guy in the purple 935 at the beginning was a very slow driver. (His awareness was a bit lacking too, I thought he was going to chop Leh's nose off before Tetre Rouge!)

Le Mans 1982 and the 956. I'm admittedly biased, but this has to be one of the best videos beyond in-car 956 that I have seen. It's in German and includes some development work in the beginning.

i watch the race?on ITV4 at the weekend and although it was good to see them it was little more than a procession but it was good to see so many of them at one time

Thank you. This brought back a lot of memories of the 1997 FIA GT1 race at Sebring. It was one of the best events that I have ever attended and many of these cars raced that weekend.
