So the events centre is about 70 metres I would guess the car would take about 45 metres to get to speed ??????? Surely the car can stop in 25 metres?????

Considering it took the Toyota f105 180 odd metres to get to 80 odd mph, cant see them pulling this one off in 75m... But anyway, has it happened yet, is Murph now the world record holder, or, where do I send my condolences???

some video from the event no idea on the record though i think thats tomorrow. love the entrence and the genitals comment from Clarkson, abit ****ed about how the camera went down to the ground for a sec or 2 there:

was there on friday night also to see the Ultima drop around 8 litres of oil onto the concrete surface which took them a wee while to clean up

Didn't seem to be enough traction available from the concrete surface for both take off and braking. Watch the earlier video on what happened with a F1 car and you will understand.
