I know any publicity is considered good but, do they really expect us to believe he was that bad a month ago ?

I appreciate he was injured fairly severely but am beginning to wonder how much spin is being put on the story considering he was entered in 12hr and has now taken his place.

Well done however to Grant to get back + to pull fastest lap first time out.

it is good to see the 12-hour getting some coverage even if it is through Denyer's back.

Wasn't Denyer on television a few weeks ago playing tennis against Jelena Dokic in a lifestyle interview...he looked very agile and jovial to me.

That must have been a "miracle day".

MJ, there is a huge difference between the Dumbrell incident and the family wanting privacy at the time (fair enough, I knew a heck of a lot more than many and kept it to myself) and the publicity machine making Denyer look so bad (almost at deaths door) but suddenly able to play tennis and race cars again.

Sure is. See post#69 on this thread for my thoughts on the publicity machine.

I doubt Denyer himself had any input, but sure enough they conned me. Again.

Are you kidding me? I used to run a PR agency and the one thing you NEVER do is put a story out without approval from the client. Even if its Grant's management that's calling the shots he still has ultimate control of, and responsibility for, information placed into the public domain on his own behalf.

Bimmerhead,

You may have chosen to run your agency ethically, but I'm sure you know some who don't. Regardless of whether I'm right or wrong (I don't know which I'd rather be) it is all a bit odd.

On a brighter note - he's been racing well again, which will soothe his soul no end.
