Alwaysfirst should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Kendal International Raceway

This is Kendal International Raceway in Cumbria, just outside the Lake District National Park. The circuit has it's corners named after many famous towns in the county whilst the torturous north section is named after 3 of the most treacherous mountain passes in the county. The circuit has huge elevation change, especially in the north section. The circuit is fast & spectacular with many challenging corners including the flat out double apex dipper called Coniston Corner, the whole of the uphill north section, with Honnister corner being especially challenging as it is just after a crest, & the Windermere Esses-think Eau Rouge but 3 times as long, faster & slightly looser-a real challenge of a section. Here it is!

Again - another great design. However, would it be too fast? Do you have any estimations in relation to circuit length?

Coniston would be a real challenge. Great design

I agree with martin. It's a nice track, but waay too fast for modern standards. It unfortunately needs some tightening here and there.

Is this better Dutton? http://img526.imageshack.us/my.php?i...raceway3ni.png
Thanks all! I do love this circuit but as you say a few chicanes might be needed for the faster modern single seaters, but for touring cars & historics I would leave it exactly as it is. If touring cars can run on the Nordschleife then why not here?

No real changes here except the adiition of 3 chicanes, not all of which have to be used on the slower version of the track.

& for Dutton: http://img434.imageshack.us/my.php?i...raceway0po.png

By the way, again the circuit would be quite long-about 5.7-6km

I'm not sure Stop start chicanes are the answer to the fast nature of the design, the circuit is very flowing and these chicanes would ruin that.

What to do about reducing the speed, I have no better ideas unfortunately as it's a great design.

I just felt that those series that coukd race on this circuit should not have to suffer changes due to the few. Chicanes, much as I hate them (generally), I felt, were the best solution to preserve the main circuit. As I said, not all of the chicanes would have to be used. I felt that the positioning of the 1st & 3rd chicanes wouldn't break up the flow of the circuit too much due to their positioning. The 2nd chicane I ain't so keen on! I would be happy to look at any other possible solutions!
