Steve Johnson Stars at Willowbank Testing

From what is available on the underground wireless , Steve Johnson emerged as the fastest car in the pre season testing days at Willowbank with Stone Bros and 888 fairly close behind and Steve well ahead of both WPScars,Paul Morris was the fastest Holden with Fabian Coulthard second fastest I am not sure how close the Holdens are to the Fords.
Lets Hope that Steve will keep up the good work when the real stuff starts and give DJR the season they want to celebrate their new sponsor

How did Juniors times compare with previous lap records now that the Fords have a revised aero package?

Steve did indeed have two very good test days, however my information is that Will Davison, whose car was not ready for the Monday test, was fastest on Friday and for the week, posting a time of 1.10.9. Steve was close behind at 1.11.0. Morris and Bowe were both around the 1.11.5 mark.

Davison had the best tyres Steve was on old rubber to set such a great time on old tyres and with a weight disadvantage shows what a superior driver Steve Johnsonson really is

Hey sweet corn, I'm not sure whose love child you are, but I would suggest if you are unable to be unbiased in your comments and get your facts straight, then I would suggest you refrain from making comment.

Both Steve & Will did a green tyre run at the end of the day on Friday, as did Morris and Bowe. Unless you have information to the contrary, then these are the facts.

Both Will & Steve were within a tenth of each other, which is great news for the team, with Will a fraction faster, which is quite meaningless, but it is fact.

DJR only had Steve's car ready for the Monday test when 888 were testing and Steve was quickest for the day, but my understanding is that no-one did new tyre runs that day. So unless you know who was on the track at precisely what time and on what tyres, then at best it is a good guide. SBR tested the following day, so any comparison is again meaningless.

These are the facts mate....anything else is simply fantasy.

It was a relief to see the annual "Steve's lost 20kg and in the best shape ever" story in MN this week!

TheMan has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
I was at QR on Friday and if Steve has lost 20kg then I have put it on! I must admit though that he does look fitter in his face so must be doing some work, but not the gains as reported.
