Lydden BRC Round 1
Right, I don't want any **** about tyres or buggies etc, CHRIS CAKE is not allowed to comment because we all know he wont be at lydden and I think we all know his feelings.
Who is going to Lydden? Racing, speccying, marshaling etc. |

Yup - I'll be there. On the grid with Boy Blunder and Gnomex.
Better brush off the Probans and give them an airing. And if anyone is bringing "Grid Girls" can they equip them with umbrellas this time........don't fancy a repeat of August Bank Holiday where I gave up my waterproofs to save a couple of the girls from nearly drowning |

As mentioned in some closed theards, I will come and check out the action first hand. Hoping on a sunny day, otherwise we should be doing some more global warming.
Does anyone know what extra's there will be for the 40th anniversary? |

As last year i come to watch the racing. ( Looks like a Belgian invasion )
As for weather and action, i hope the same as Bert. The rain last year (august bank holiday) was euh... same as the action... impressive. Drivers who need some pics, PM me and i make some for you. Good tip for other European spectators: |

Yes, I'll be there. Despite the ongoing arguments I hope people will support both series.
Anybody know anything (or want to idlely speculate! )about the historics that might be running? |

As i said before I will be there spectating as I have done for god knows how many previous years. Plan to get there early as I advise others to then head to the green hut in the paddock for a breakfast roll, dont think I need to advise anyone to do that!
Will be great to have some spectators over from europe all adds to the atmosphere, any official news yet as to whether they will be joined by some drivers too? It cant come quick enough now and my real hope is for some great racing (who can forget the great if a little controversial battles last year between Boak, Howlin & driver of the day Turpin) and a damage free day for all drivers. |
