3 Castrol Perkins Commodore's!!!!!
I was told by a relieable source that it has been confirmed that Castrol Perkins Racing will be running a 3rd car next year and that a deal was 99.99% done with S.Richards to steer it and also news that LP will only be contesting the required "60%" of races to retain level 1.
Question is does this also bring Big "Jimmy Richards" to the line up for enduro's? |

They would need to do all of the races, with at least one car, to retain their franchise. Larry doesn't have to do anything, but I think he'll still be there.
Did one of the motorsport mags say that a third car might be used for a 'young gun', since McDougall is on the outer? |

Even if Steven richards does drive for LP (and AFAIK this still hasn't been confirmed) this wouldn't automatically bring Jim into the picture anyway. Jim has always driven for teams that have offered him the best chance, is his opinion of course, of achieving a good finish - preferably a win of course

Sounds ok...let's put Larry in the black Castrol car, The Enforcer back in the Silver car and Richo Jr in the Magnatech paint scheme used for the first Canberra event.

You are correct about the three cars, but as far as I know Larry will not be slowing down until 2003. I have not heard anything to confirm about Steve Richards driving the 3rd Castrol car.

If this is confirmed about Richo, he has really been doing the rounds from teams and from manufacteres over a short period of time. 97 he was in a Commodore for GRM, 98 a nissan for Ray Mallock , 99-2000 for Holden Gibbo/Dumbrell, 2001 Ford. quite amazing isn't it?

dont get me wrong I think Richo Jnr is excellent and a very good driver but there maybe something that doesnt quite click with him in some way ???? |

Looks like Richo may go in the 3rd Castrol car.
