diddy100 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
It appears Breckland Council have now announced that Snett is one of their key development areas - plan to create 600 jobs - so come on JP sort out your planning application. Lets hope he does add a bit more spectator comforts and not just paint more kerbing red and white !!!

Just been to the curcuit - VdeV's testing - work being done in installing new wooden barriers around the large infield car park - over the bridge on the right, plus noticed some more conifers at the back of the Esses spectator area - very small so will be years before will be stopping the wind blowing across the spectator bank.

Appears the noise abatement order is very nearly sorted so hopefully may finally start seeing some movement on the planning applications, hopefully the bunding they plan to build will finally stop the "natives" compaining - but some have already been complaining and we are only in Feb !!!!

I might even risk freezing my nuts off and come over for the sake of half an hours drive.
I just hope that none of the moronic complainers were watching the news on TV this morning, apparently those people who live near airports have more chance of developing high blood pressure!. It cant raise it any higher than those that have to listen to their ramblings.

Isn't 118dcbs pretty loud? In the CTCRC you have to run at 105 and I've just got the PowerNight stuff through and that's 98db for mid-week evenings. Therefore 118 sounds great as does the un-silcened bit.

That 98db must be a drive by Gregor surely.

Al - Yes it is, sorry, I should have made that clear.

I don't know if it's good or bad but at Silverstone down the pit straight you get a lot of echo, feedback and the aerodynamic whoosh (I'm sure there's a technical term for it!!) from the pitwall and I don't know of that helps or hinders?

I personally think it would be great if they did a PowerNight at Snetterton; I think it'd be well supported and I think the main reason I enjoyed the event I did last year was racing in the dark which brought back memories of the 24 hour Willhire events that I loved as a kid.

Same as Combe then. I think a drive by at least for me is a good way to go as I have no intake roar from my cars and they sound very quite around the track but I have still fallen foul several times with the sound police on the black car and had to wear me SuperTrapps or SuperPowerTrapps as I prefer to call them. I have a nice big silencer from the States to go on now I hope that cures it!
