Gibbo's Gone

Fred Gibson has quit, according to this weeks AA, and he never owned anything in the team, not the cars, not the tools, just the workshop and the franchise, which he is being made to sell anyway. So Bob Forbes owns it all, does that mean the name will change to hos old team, Bob Forbes Corporation, maybe we can expect GIO Falcons next season.

The end of an era..........

Doesn't Suncorp-Metway now own GIO? We might see one of those cars out there...

Interesting stuff- a lot of people might still be looking for level one franchises, so Fred might easily take that somewhere where it is needed...

Gee Ray tell us what ya really think

I reckon fred is a great team operator and it is a shame that he has quit or been pushed or whatever.

I guess now we can safely say that Rodney Forbes will be in the team next year ..at the expense of Crompton too possibly ???? allthough Forbes and crompton have worked well in the past.

will Lowndes hang around after 2002???

will he try for another Ford team or will he stick this one out and hope that it works out ?

anyway good luck fred in whatever you do.

He has been gone prior to Indy. There is another guy who I have been told is taking his place.
