Hornby sign rights to A1 GP
I read yesterday that Hornby/Scalextric have signed the rights to make scale models of the A1 GP cars for slot car racing.
That should be pretty cool for awareness |

Yeah, the A1 GP set will be a miles better seller than the current generation F1 sets I'd imagine.
Will be great for A1GP's publicity, especially in this country, as you say. |

I though Scalextric's involvement with Team GBR was a dead cert at the start of the season, so I was disappointed when it didn't happen. I guess they wanted to wait and see.
I thought they could change their logo colours on the GBR car ... scALEXtric looked good to me |

Scalextics always been cool. I used to have a basic track and a few cars. I have no idea where it came from, or where it went for that matter... Anyhow, now that I'm older, and have some space I might just have to get myself a new track! I used to have tiny cars too, so they still do these? The only one I can remember was a little fire truck, and the smell it made if you throttled up and held the truck in place, mmmmm burning!
