Antrodemus should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
2015 V8Supercar Fantasy Championship

The 2015 V8 Supercar Fantasy Championship roars into action in the cathedral of horsepower that is the Clipsal 500 in just under a months time in what promises to be yet another fast and furious race for the Pete55 Memorial Trophy.

V8 Supremo Antrodemus took time out from redesigning the series logo to share his enthusiasm for the series in 2015, and is confident of another great year.
“Despite such an awesome 2014, the series is poised to reach new heights in 2015,” he said. “I’m sure it will be an inconceivably exciting year; lots of changes about so I look forward to the whole circus rolling into Adelaide at the end of February.”

Now entering its thirteenth year on Network Ten-Tenths, this series can always guarantee close racing, dodgy officiating, and heated rivalries. The 2015 V8 Supercar Fantasy Championship Series is upon us! Gentlemen (and Gentlewomen),
Start Your Engines!

1. Drivers

You can hire up to 3 drivers to drive your cars, provided that their combined salary comes in below the $2,000,000 Salary Cap.
Here is how much they cost:

$1,400,000$1,300,000$1,200,000$1,100,000
Jamie WhincupCraig LowndesScott McLaughlinFabian Coulthard
 Shane van GisbergenMark WinterbottomJames Courtney
   Chaz Mostert

$1,000,000$900,000$800,000$700,000
Jason BrightMarcos AmbroseWill DavisonJames Moffat
Garth TanderMichael CarusoLee HoldsworthNick Percat
 Rick KellyDavid ReynoldsTim Slade

$600,000$500,000
Todd KellyTim Blanchard
David WallAndre Heimgartner
Dale WoodAsh Walsh

Other Drivers
If anyone else not listed above drives in one of the non-enduro rounds, they will be valued at $400,000.

Endurance Drivers
Specialist drivers will be available for Phillip Island, Bathurst and Surfers Paradise. More info below.

2. Hiring & Firing

As Team Owner/Manager, you are permitted to sack any or all of your drivers in the lead-up to a round, and replace them - so long as you don’t blow the salary cap or 3-driver limit.

To sack/hire someone, post here expressing your disappointment in your ex-employee(s), and your hopes for your new driver(s). You will only be charged a driver change if your team is different at the next round, so there is scope to change your mind if need be. The deadline for making changes is the start of first practise.

Driver changes do cost you championship points, however, as per below:
First change = free!
Second change = 50 points
Third change = 100 points
Fourth change = 150 points
etcetera, increasing by 50 points for each subsequent change.

Enduro Cup
If you wish, you may use one of your driver changes to hire some of the Sunday drivers that appear during the Enduro Cup (Phillip Island, Bathurst, and Surfers Paradise). Your driver lineup, including enduro specialists, must still fit inside the $2M salary cap, but you will be allowed an extra pilot, so you can have a maximum of 4 drivers at these three rounds. You will automatically revert to your normal driver lineup after Surfers, should you choose this option. Note that you do not have to pair up your drivers.

The price list for enduro drivers will be released once we know who they are. As an added incentive, the once-a-year brigade also come with generously discounted price tags

3. Points:

Points are the same as the real series. Whatever a driver scores at each round in real life is what that driver will receive here, including penalties. Your worst round will not be dropped. You will not receive $200 for passing 'Go'.
If you notice that your team hasn't scored as many points as you think they should have (or more than they should have ), there are a couple of likely reasons for this:
1) My maths stinks;
2) I missed your driver change;
3) I've only just realised one of your drivers got penalised somewhere along the line.
Either way, let me know and I'll fix your score so its 100% correct.

4. Other Things You Should Know As Team Owner:

- One team per person, per year.
- You don’t have to use all $2 million, but DO NOT GO OVER BUDGET!!! You will be suitably punished (ie. disqualified from the round) if I discover any creative bookkeeping.
- A driver can be chosen by more than one team - these guys are consummate professionals and are able to drive eleventeen cars simultaneously.
- Points are the same as the real series. If things don't seem to add up, feel free to point out my mathematical ineptitude.
- Round results and championship standings will be posted here following the conclusion of each round.
- After the results have been posted, you can report on your team’s performance (or lack thereof). Show us how good you are at distributing propaganda.

5. Team Announcements:

Once you’ve picked your driving line-up, give your team a name, announce some sponsors, racing numbers, liveries, grid girls/guys, mascots, overseas technical partners and any other stuff you can think of, and of course your manufacturer of choice, then post here giving a detailed description of the copious quantities of hide your team will kick in the forthcoming season.

To make it easy for me, could you please condense the propaganda into this sort of form following your press release:

Quote:
NAME: Falco ultimus
SPONSORS: TBA (certainly not Ford Motor Company though!)
DRIVERS:
#997 Marcos Ambrose
#998 David Reynolds
#999 Andre Heimgartner
MANUFACTURER: Ford

Entries are open as of now, so start issuing those press releases! Your team can be altered without penalty until first practise at Adelaide.
Comments/suggestions/queries are more than welcome, either here or via PM.

May the Fords be with you (or against you as the case may be),

Straight Line Entrepreneurship Racing Rocks V8Supercar

GTRMagic is proud to announce that Jordan Belfort's infamous 'Straight Line Entrepreneurship' system has joined his 2015 TenTenths V8Supercar Fantasy Championship assault for a second season.

Fresh off the back of a solid 6th placing in the 2014 fantasy championship, GTRMagic has revised the team line up & hardware to even further improve competitiveness.

Joining the team in 2015 are Pace-built Ford Falcon FG's, powered by Ford Ecoboost, while we welcome Mr Van Gisbergen & Mr Percat to the driving line up.

Mr Antrodemus has made these drivers so much more expensive this season because of their good performances, that 3 good pilots are hard to come by under the cap.. so SLER has chosen to enter 2 cars this year. We sold our 3rd REC to Team Kiwi.

Jordan Belfort remains our Team Motivator, bringing his colourful self & a menagerie of supporters and disciples to each round of the series.

Indeed Jordan plans to take some people for a spin in the team ride car during the year. That should be something great to see! He might even get an enduro seat alongside Mr Percat...

Go Jordan. Go Well.

!!! PRESS RELEASE !!!

Brendon Engineering scale back to 2 cars for 2 young stars!

Brendon Engineering has decided to focus on 2 strong VF commodores and put their 3rd chassis in dry dock as a spare for the 2015 10 Tenths V8 Supercars Fantasy Championship. "2 cars is the ideal number we believe, 3 stretches the focus and the personel too much. "It is also logistically a stretch and the costs don't add up to run the 3rd but the biggest point is we believe we can get the best driving talent over 2 cars rather then 3 solid performers." Said team Owner/Principal Brendon on the step back to 2 cars.

The team has recruited some of the series best talent to steer thei Commodores aswell. Leading the Charge for the team is 2014 bridesmaid and series "Wild Child" Shane Van Gisbergan in the #97. "Shane is a champion driver and can drive extremely fast in any car or formula he competes in. "He is a wild child with a unique and entertaining style but over the last 12 months he has matured and added consistency to his game while still having that flare and blinding speed." Brendon said of his star recruit Van Gisbergan.

Re-joining the team after driving one of the teams Commodores in the early rounds of 2014 is Tim Slade in the #47. "Tim is a great driver who just needed some confidence and luck last year, we parted amicably last year and Tim has since recovered that confidence and we are both more then happy to renew the partnership." Brendon added on re-signing Slade.

The Team will hit the track for the first time at the V8 SuperTeast at Sydney Motorsport Park on February 8-9 ahead of the first round at the Clipsal 500 on the streets of Adelaide on February 26-March 1. "We've got really strong packages this year with great personel, 2 star driver's and really good cars. "We will be a massive threat this year and all in the team are really itching to his the track at Sydney Motorsport Park in 2 weeks. "We will be ready and raring to go come Clipsal." Beamed a very excited Brendon.

Driver Line-Up:
#97 - Shane Van Gisbergan - Holden VF Commodore - $1,300,000
#47 - Tim Slade - Holden VF Commodore - $700,000
Total - $2,000,000

Happy Dragon TeamMVMotorsport out to avenge disappointing 2014

HAPPY DRAGON TEAMMVMOTORSPORT RETURNS FOR 2015

Happy Dragon TeamMVMotorsport returns for their 12th year in the V8SCFC.

Team principal Mercurial Matty V is hoping that the soul searching and regrouping completed over the off season will see them well in the hunt to claim the Pete55 trophy in Sydney in December.

Matty V announces the following drivers have signed on for 2015:

#3 James Courtney ($1.100k)
#34 Rick Kelly ($900k)

The usual sponsors have lined up to support the team in their 12th year; St. George Bank, Jeep, Momentum Energy, ISC, AVS Security and McGuigans Wines. A new accounting firm in William Wentworth has been signed to a multi year deal.

Due to the teams ongoing lack of creativity / apathy the livery will have to be imagined by punters unless someone has more time, creativity, design nous and/or commitment than the team itself. Just imagine a pearl white car with a red V, numbers on the doors (because that's where they belong) and the aforementioned sponsor logos.

Happy Dragon TeamMVMotorsport will be driving COtF's, with Holden headlights, unless someone else's headlights are faster.

Happy Dragon TeamMVMotorsport wishes all other competitors well for 2015, and expresses gratitude to Antro, the V8SCFC black wiggle, for his commitment to what is one of Mercurial Matty V's highlights in any V8 Supercar season.

-----
Post Script:

Happy Dragon TeamMVMotorsport have competed in 12 of the 14 V8SCFC's run, finishing equal 26th in the 2014 season. The team has a career best finish of fourth, achieved in 2004. The team missed the 2005 season. The team has an average finishing position of 27.5, something it is keen to rectify.

PRESS RELEASE
Pascofi Motorsport back leaner but stronger.

After a tough 2014 season, Pascofi Motorsport is back for it's third season.

Due to sponsorship dollars being guzzled on repairing cars and hiring/firing drivers last year, the team has decided to downsize to two cars. But hiring two quality drivers for the coming season to upsize the driving strength.

Our first driver was a huge surprise last year, and had been mentioned early last year as a possible team-driver. This year Scott McLaughlin has been hired as team leader to spearhead the charge towards the top.

Our second driver is also a surprise...for a different reason. Tim Slade has returned to the team which fired him prior to the enduros last year, after some solid performances late last year led to him being offered a second chance.

Here are the team details for 2015...

Team: Pascofi Motorsport
Sponsors: Monster Energy, Subway
Drivers: (Spent Budget: $1,900,000)
#48: Tim Slade ($700,000)
#84: Scott McLaughlin ($1,200,000)
Manufacturer: Holden

The team are on their way to the test day, to fine-tune the cars before the return to base and then onwards to Adelaide for Round 1.
(most of the team are not happy about the 12Hour being on the same weekend, but the DVR is set for all the action)

Let's Race!

Tracer Fire should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Silver Fernz Motorsport has just announced that James Moffat will join the team's regular driver Craig Lowndes for the 2015 V8Supercar Fantasy Championship. After receiving end of year recognition for reckless driving in both 2013 and 2014, the team is looking for a more consistent performance. Let's hope we stay on the track for 2015 rather than bouncing off walls.

NAME: Silver Fernz Motorsport
SPONSORS: Interislander, Z
DRIVERS:

#88 James Moffat
MANUFACTURER: Mercedes
