Kyle Busch thread

The quest to 200 overall NASCAR wins is on. Lets discuss it here.

His nationwide Phoenix win on March 1 makes it 128 now. If NASCAR wants to impose a limit for Sprint Cup drivers running in Nationwide and truck races, then they should hold off until Kyle makes it to 200. I'm not a Nascar fan as I usually post on the sportscar forum but the one thing that has my interest is Kyle going after this mark.

Problem for Kyle is that there are more than two consistently competitive cars in the series, same can't be said for the current Nationwide field where a ride in the 22/54 gives you an almost guaranteed shot at the win. (54 team was once 20 team)

Ah, Kyle Busch. The guy is a total mystery to me. Lots of talent, but seemingly unable to turn that into regular wins or a championship in the big league, so (IMO) to fuel his ego he drops down into the little leagues every week to show his muscle.

A cup driver doing a few Nationwide races a year at places like Daytona, 'Dega, Bristol, Darlington etc i have no problem with. But i don't understamd why a top Cup driver would voluntarily drop down a level or two every week to ride around and beat a field made up mosly of kids, has-beens and never-will-be's.

I mean, you don't hear an F1 driver saying "I'm bored sitting around on a Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning so i'm gonna get my ass in a GP2 car". They wouldn't lower themselves. What do they have to prove and whats the point? Ditto for Indycar and Indylights.

The sooner he gets his precious 200 the better, then he can leave the kids alone!!

I prefer the NASCAR spirit of racing in other classes (not only N'wide or Trucks but also dirt sprint cars or late models, etc) than the elitist attitude of F1 drivers.
