Ecurie Llan etc.
Just a thought here...as it's such a bloody cool name, i think we should start a sportscar fan's club/fangroup/"crew" under the Ecurie Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch name.
Now, I admit there are some flaws- T-shirts might be a problem, and reading them even more so. But it'll give DJ Choc Ice something to put on his banners... What do we reckon? Supporting Ecurie Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch for Le Mans 2009? (Or even just a few Le Mans Series events over the coming year ). |

NO! It's the name. It doesn't deserve a space!
Call it Ecurie Llan (pronounced clan ) for short. "Ecurie Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch: better than whips and chains! (unless you're max)" "Ecurie Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch: because some days Stephane's hair is not enough." |

T'is done. May I say (as the probable unwitting author of this silliness), that this is indeed one of the silliest threads I've seen since I've been here....... ...... but there's always a place for silliness in this world........ |

We'll let the US/Canadians in, as long as they admit that LMS is better than ALMS
And yes, Ayse, you are vaguely an unwitting author Be proud, this is an initiative now I have big ambitions for this |

OK...for those who don't know, a little while ago Ayse said something about Ecurie Llan.... as the "Welsh entrant" (I don't recall in which thread), but then both me and DJ Choc Ice added it to signatures (seperately), but then I thought "sportscar racing needs a bit of a fan group/club" so I thought it'd a funny plan to name it Ecurie Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. Perhaps one day we will rename it Aysedasi racing, but for now it is the full name.
Feel free to join, or not... |
