Oh wasn't it in auto action the other week that Cam McLean could be giving up racing, so you could probably cross him out Jackblahbh, unless you know something that we don't or even Cam knows. From auto action McLean has revealed his plans to contest next year's Fujitsu V8 supercar series are now in doubt. "On hold would be the best way to put it at the moment" said McLean. "Things have changed for both our sides a bit. The amount of time I would need to put it into it to make it happen. I probably haven't got and the guy who's got the money who was involved with the cars, he's had a change of heart, I guess it's the best way to put it. Something still might happen but it might''n happen exactly as we had originally planned. It also mentioned the he would be unlikly to chase a co-drive in the enduros. so anyone who had him on that list could cross him out. |

Really, is there ANY basis for some of the suggestions here?
Tim Slade in a VE? Mr Rosenberg has to buy one first. Which sounds like it is unlikely he'll also be sponsoring Ben Clucas at SSR. Where are Howard Racing going to source the third BF form? T8 is a bit short of spare BFs these days. Where is Gene Rollinson's budget coming ftom? Next time I'm in Taupo I'd love to stay or eat at Chantillys but will they fund a whole season? Cam McLean? See earlier post. Just because Leanne Tander tested a PMM car doesn't mean she has the gig...she has said herself she needs to raise $500,000. And how come Damian White is back in harness at WPR? Where has the second car come from? And Michael Trimble has his car for sale. And finally, who started this trend of reversing the order of a team's alleged sponsors, for the second car? Has this ever actually happened??? |

Where did the idea of TDR running 2 DVS cars come from? Iv been told there struggling to fill the #99 seat let alone running a 2nd car. Word is that if Thommo cant get a main series gig he will take a year off and try next year

Yes it was. None of the current cars in the Saillard garage are eligble for the Fujitsu series. The ex Longhurst EL and the ex PWR AU are too old and the "ex FPR BA" is in fact an ex Glenn Seton Racing AU reskinned as a BA by the Youlden family, to be put to work as a ride car.
Maybe another acquisition is imminent? |
