Alonsomania should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Lausitzring Road Course Proposal

Since the old road course was way too long, here is a optional long and a optional short course.

Does the full Lausitzring course (both oval sections and infields) get used for any racing series, or just as a test track?

I think there was a WSB race there a couple of years ago, but I don't know which bits of the track it used.
I know the test oval bit was used for the film 'Driven'

No, they used a high-banked oval at a proving grounds in Quebec, at least that's what I heard on the DVD with the director's voice-over.

There is a combined layout of something like 7 miles that is intended for sportscar endurance events, but it has not hosted one as of yet, to my knowledge.

Yeah, that's the PMG testing facility in Blainville, Quebec. They do a lot of filming there, apparently.
