Looking forward to this year even though I will be watching only! Following week is Spa - what a great fortnight!
Simon do you need me to make an apearance at your hospitality bash, oily mechanics overalls and all.

agree with what Simon says (sorry - no pun intended!) re clients wanting Goddwood. The trouble is that I really would rather gio with my mates or on my own than with clients as most of them have a passing interest in what's going on but treat it a bit like Ascot - i.e. all very nice but where's the nearest bar!

Speaking of Goodwood I did not apply for tickets because I was unable to go this year - however now I can go but they are sold out!! Does anyone have a ticket for Friday and Saturday in particulalr but also Sunday as well I can buy?

PM me if you are too embarrassed to publicises it (I hope I have not infringed any forum rules by asking?)

Three double rooms available in a very good hotel in Chichester for Goodwood Revival weekend. These are rarer than hen's teeth. Please let me know if interested.

Nick, if you are willing to risk it, the first time I went I popped into the ticket collections office near the front gate and collected a returned ticket and a grandstand ticket for Chicane for the Sunday. Paid standard face value.

I'm a member, would you like me to give them a tinkle and see what the score is?

By the way, if you do make it, I have a table booked for the Kennels for Saturday night; it tends to be a reasonable atmosphere but it could do with livening up with some snorkelling if you are interested...

Roger, Nick is racing at Donington and cant log on so I said I'd drop you a line

Nick was hoping for a ticket for him for the weekend, plus 4 for either Sat of Sun (1 adult and 3 kids)?

Thanks

thanks Roger and Simon.

Yes, Simon, love to meet up for beer and sustenance if possible! If you can get any returns then please be my guest - i surrendered membership a while ago as I could never take advantage of other offers outside of the Goodwood dates.

Roger are you able to get tickets?

If RW can't get tickets the world really is odd but he does have lots of people to sort his cars that actually need passes.

Perfect! If only my press accreditation had not been turned down. I wonder how many they give out to media people who don't go for the vintage racing but rather for vintage booze!

Do you refer to booze made from sour grapes?

Getting to be an annual event for us.

Have entry for one of mine in Madgwick.

I'm in Euro classic run so will not see the spectacular event which is probably a good idea as don't want the jockey to get to feisty.
