Merc - with an honourable mention for Renault for dragging themselves up to 6th (gaining upwards of $8M ! ) despite doing their best to fail by failing to fasten Sainz's wheel on. Don't suppose the $5K fine would hurt too much

Well Mercs would have been the obvious one: 1-2 in qually, 1-2 in the race, fastest lap, and left Vettel's Ferrari for dead. But it's end-of-term so I'm going to branch out a little: Renault! Yes, one of their drivers did get himself a silly penalty; and yes, the pit-stop was a bit messy (but maybe the wheel stuck due to heat soak from the brake while serving the penalty); and yes, the wheel did fall off (literally) the other car. But they jumped two places in the championship and earned themselves a big bag of money at the same time. No other team did anything like that.

Seriously? They botched both pitstops (one terminally) and got the result they needed thanks to an overly lenient penalty and their rivals shooting themselves in the feet.

Boring as it is my vote is for Mercedes. 1-2 and a dominate performance, nobody even came close.

Corrupt? That's a bit heavy. I acknowledged that the Hulk got it wrong, but he served his penalty and still got the place they needed. It's not Renault's fault if you don't agree with the steward's penalty.

And I think I overstated it; they gained one place in the championship.
