Anyone using an aim solo lap timer??

How are they these days.
The reviews from 2012 seem to infer that the UK tracks weren't automatically recognised and had to be loaded.. Plus the race data was difficult to download??

Have they moved on and got simpler to operate?

One that seems to be very good is Harrys lap Timer.
Its very popular over here.I have used one (on a Track Day) and was impressed with the info feedback.

Its about £15 for an I phone, and less than a tenner for a secure holder fitted to the tunnel in my car. you can also link it up to a go pro . . . . although I need a ten year old to help me with that bit of technology.

I need all my efforts to make the car go long enough to get any meaningful footage!
