HSCC Silverstone International May 21 to 22nd

time to bring this up

anwfully close to Monaco
so some preparers will have a hard time
first the long haul back and then load the truck up again next morning

allways a wonderful meeting

i am looking forward to run on the Full GP circuit
my fist event this year

I have entered

March 752 F2 in DBT
Brabham BT 2 in HFJ

such a shame that there is no Classic F3 race...

Rudolf, you don't need to start a thread if the event is on the calendar. Just click on the calendar entry and you'll find a thread already there....

To save finishing up with two threads running for the same meeting I've merged yours and the calendar together. Hope you don't mind!

One of the highlights of my motorsport season.
A mini Classic without the crowds and only £15 for two days
Have tickets and hotel booked, just ordering some decent weather.

Agree with that. It's been said many times before- 'the right crowd and no crowding!

Sadly I won't be there, as it clashes with Pau Historique, and I'm joining Delta Motorsport for the trip to S of France! Here's hoping for good weather for both meetings, and of course any others on same weekend.....

As far as we know, first ever outing for the Gemini in the UK, having resided Stateside since '59, unless anyone knows otherwise. I understand it was not unknown for Chequered Flag to run customer cars as their own before export.

Also first time out for the E-type after the paddock trauma at last year's Donington Festival.

Very much looking forward to this

Go well, young man! Hope to see some pics after of the Gemini moving, rather than some bloke asleep in it......

Sunday clashes with the MSCC at Donington, and a Fiscar race if I am not mistaken.

Yep, indeed, Bob. So many clashes in the season, unfortunately.

When's the timetable likely to be published? I'm undecided as to whether to attend on both days or just the Sunday and time's running out for (cheap) hotel availability.

Should be soon knowing the HSCC but in the meantime if you check out the entry form on their website it gives an idea of what races take place on each day.

Thanks Colin, just booked the hotel as I've decided to do the whole weekend, but I'll wait until next week to get the tickets as it will be after the credit card statement date!

To save you the bother of counting, there are 50 Historic Formula Fords on our grid. Maybe there some E-Type drivers amongst them....

Class win and class fastest lap to Mr. McKay in the Juniors.

In the wet!

Bravo!

Have you considered cutting the roof off the E-Type Colin?

Delta Geminis 1 and 2 in class!

Bravo!

Had another canny day trip, sum stunning machines in all of the races and sum great driving as well, just a pity it seams like normal British weather has returned.

Have to also say thank you to the Lyons family for bringing the McLaren M26 straight from Monaco to Silverstone, was great to see it running.
