Colin Chapman International Circuit
Hey,
I was just looking at fantasytracks.2ya.com to see if any new tracks were up, and i suddenly realised we all made quite a bummer . Our MTRp3 - Colin Chapman International Circuit was actually never added to that site . Freak, you' on the job? And, just for a fresh reminder, here it is, http://img83.exs.cx/img83/6225/mytra...yiii5dh4ad.jpg Last edited by pirenzo; 21 Feb 2005 at 16:44. |

That image was too big to post as an [img] tag, edited to just a url link.
Its a cool track though, I didn't contribute much to it, but its probably the best of the three MTRs. I thought it did go up on fantasytracks though, maybe I'm just imagining it |

Ok ... crossing the start/finish straight we come to the most obvious over taking spot at the Turn 1 Hairpin...
From here the exit climbs slightly uphill to reach the crest of Campen a left hand corner taken in 3 or 4th gear ... which in-turn leads to a short downhill straight followed by 'The Sweep' named appropriately as it is a very high speed left hand sweeper... This is followed by the loop that is called 'John Player' ... first is a 90 right which opens out wide into the start of an uphill climb... First is the second part of the loop; an easy right followed by an easy left ... This leads into the 'Riverside' bends ... high speed 'S' bends; right then left (this is still uphill) Following the Riverside we have medium straight leading into Clayton.... Clayton is a 90 left which drops downhill immediately after the apex... After Clayton, we have a short straight with a right kink in the centre leading into Elise... Elise is almost the same as 'John Player' part one but reversed ... a 90 left opening into this time a downhill sweeping section called Exige ... left then a long right ... were the cars pick up speed onto another medium straight... Next up is Inglaton ... a double apex right hander similar to turns 7-8 at Sepang, Malaysia... In the inside of this corner is the entrance to the Support Pitlane/Complex... Following Inglaton we come to another straight this time it is flat which leads to Cosworth ... Cosworth is a 'snail' bend ... a 90 right which opens to a long winding left-hand bend where cars build up speed... This corner leads to the 'Spoon' ... Its name sake from Suzuka is reversed and is more rounded as opposed to Suzuka's two bends... this opens to a short straight followed by a very long right hand sweeper which funnels the cars into the final turn a chicane ... which is also very much like Suzuka's last bend (before modification) Exiting the chicane ... cars cross the finish-line Ok ... crossing the start/finish-line down the 1km main straight... |

freak, there's a problem. The link to our track brings up the Moscow page. You might want to fix it ASAP.
