Finally someone to agree with. I also think that Monty can score his 1st win at indy, but can williams help him?. Every time he has been there, at the top, something unthinkable happens, I just wish on the US gp everything will come out good for us Jpm supporters.

Well Alan, at this stage I really don´t care about Schumies´ fans, I just want that this new guy gets his first, because he deserves it long time ago (since Interlagos !!!). Just a matter of luck... He was about to break a record by getting his first at his third GP, this guy has what it takes to beat a lot of experienced guys in this Series.

Being that he`s not going to better 4th postion next year,i think he should keep out of accidents in preparation for a return to cart in 03. |

Juan will be on the podium this year, and he'll probably be on the top step at least once.
But that, in all probability (and we'll wait till after it happens to see how AGGY explains it to us) will be because he has an unbeatable car and got lucky not to crash or break it. |

And AGGY, for a change I decided to use a little sarcasm with you... guess it didn't work. Do you really think I would take a lot of notice of your explanations? By the way, I'm not a real fan of Montoya's, but I think I'd like to see him up there to challenge Schumacher (Michael), especially after his effort at Interlagos. I know, I know... you have an explanation for that one too... |

Montoya is without a doubt a very talented driver...however if he believes what he wrote in his column in Autosport to be true he needs his head reading:
"...there have been only two tracks - Monaco and here [Hungaroring] - where he [Ralf] was quicker than me..." Surely that would make the qualifying comparison 11-2 in Montoya's favour, not 10-3 in Ralf's? However, he will probably win a race this year, but it will be on a power circuit, and therefore partially the doing of the boys in Munich... |

To be honest i think an indy win for JPM could help significantly to win over the US crowd.
Note i said COULD. Also as a Schuey fan i believe that Montoya is one of the best prospects around. Ok hes had a couple of duds so far but he has shown promise. Lets not remember how long it took Ralf to be established as one of the best in F1 at the moment. Anyway if i remember correctly juan wasnt particularly slow at monaco he just made a mistake. Many of the greats have crashed at monaco including Ascari, Senna and Schumi. |

Yes, Prost crashed in '82... did Stewart ever crash, I don't think Fangio did, which kind of leaves a short list of multiple champs who haven't, doesn't it?
