An Aussie mechanic looking for a new job?
Do you remember in the mid 80's when the Porsche 956/962's had a habit of doing this. I was a flag marshal high up on Brands post 24 for the 1000k's when a rear wheel went over my head and bounced down the pit lane! |

We had something similar to that last year at the Gold Cup. Sytner had lost a wheel coming out of old hall and it came to rest against the armco near the avenue. After the race finished, our I/O rolled the wheel the whole way down cascades right to the feet of the waiting marshals and Mr Sytner!

The answer to lack of marshals. Self-tidying debris.

Brilliant clip. That is the second best. I remember a NASCAR race at Bristol(?) where a wheel came off, ran all the way around the wall and ran into the back of the car it had come off in the first place.
