And then attempted a similar move on Schumacher. Agreed, bench him for the rest of the season.

Lewis was his old self this race. There may well be hope for Merc.

Why Verstappen, S Griffin?

Personally, I opted for George Russell. Kevin Magnussen did well to hang on as he did. Sensible driving not defending from the frontunners, perhaps, not losing any time.

I fear that the aggrieved team mate is too much of a gentleman to grab the miscreant by the throat in the garage and explain the error of his ways at high volume.Next year,things may be a little different.

As I was told (many times) when I was a very little boy, doing something wrong and then saying that you're sorry afterwards does not put things right.
