Good idea? Bad idea? What will happen to Team Green if he does? Will it go on or will it shut down?

And what of Dario?

There would still be Kim Green left...it's a big team, and I'm sure there would be people capable of being a "partial boss".

I don't think it would be all that horrible for Team Green, but what BAR needs is an experienced hand at the helm, not another experiment. I don't want to see another CART guy go to F1 and fail.

But then again if the Andretti rumors are true and Tracy stays, Team Green will need a firm hand to keep those two in check. They probably have more respect for each other than when they were paired at Newman-Hass, but they'll need a really huge chassis budget.

Respect for each other? Ummm, ahhh, ummm....might have to give that one a miss...

But true, 3 cars would be a tall order, do we think TKG is up to it? In 1993 Penske were right on top of their game before they went to 3 cars, and plus they had experience with expanded teams before then. Remember in 95 this was only a one car team, although i guess they have grown a lot since then. Is their Indy Lites team prepared in house with the Champ Cars?

I think this is a bad move for Green because he's doing fine now in Cart and if he went to F1 he would be going to a team that is still in development and will take a long time, if ever, to reach McLaren's or Ferrari's level. And what happens if his move to Bar becomes a disaster? Will his career be tarnished? Were will he go then? Would he still be viewed as a great manager?
It all seems a bit too risky in my opinion.

If it were a disaster, he would take his wallet full of $$$ and buy himself a mid sized Hawaiian Island

Barry Green's a fighter. He'd end up owning the whole concern.
