MJ_N_09 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
This is the 1st time I've ever seen a Vitaphone Maserati out of contention. Good thing too, not only did it (possibly) wreck the Leading Porsche, but they can't lock out the podium now at this rate.

With Gavin there they could hardly lock it out.
And i guess the R8 is also running for the overall podium

How pointless was it to repair this car?

Looks like the 99, the worst of the GT2 cars, could be a retirement.

Was the #40 incident a big one? The yellow does seem long unless there's barrier damage etc.

Bad news for Olly to once again to see his hard won lead eroded - good news is we get to see him push it hard once again when he tries to rebuild it...

Looks like a big stop for the #33 Maserati - problems or making the most of the yellow to do something clever?

Points clarification:

Double at the end?

Or points at 12 hrs and 24 hrs?

In retrospect would it have made sense to pull Gavin out of the car for the safety car period and save his car time for green flag running or do you keep him in there to keep the lead after they go green?

Gut feel says once they saw it was going to be an armco repair - which is never a short procedure - I'd have pulled in for an out of schedule driver change and then got Olly back in when there was some clear track and a chance to make the most of his ability.

At least after all that, it made for some really close battling for the lead for a while. Too bad there weren't any night-vision on-boards streaming.

... and the #1 still sits

and just after I click "submit" the #3 has a problem - 10 seconds and the lead lost in the first sector! #4 then comes to the pits and the #2 takes point!

and now it's Maserati's turn, guess maybe everybody ran out of gas following the SC?

Thanks to MST for the live timing but without vision I feel like Im blind, this is really frustrating. I wish they didnt switch off the cameras during the night. Im rapt that Vitaphone arent leading and the Audi is fourth outright!!

How many hours until GT Live comes on again?

Good to see they got the #1 running again.

Race notes says the the #3 "went wide in a curve" resulting in the lead change. They seem to be having some trouble now however, been slowly losing time for a while now.

gt1live should be back in another 6 hours or so.................

Gavin in the SRT car seems to be less dialed-in than the other contenders. On the restart he was able to gap Lamy but Hezemans was pulling away slowly, then rapidly, as Gavin recorded some slow laps and Lamy made it past. Must be coming up to some driver changes fairly soon, it will be interesting to see what shakes out.

Kumpen, Soulet and Muller in 4, 3 and 2 respectively. Another trio of fast young drivers for the top three teams as they race through the dark.

The Audi is having a great run as is, surprisingly, the Nissan. The two cars are quite well-matched on race pace, though the Audi isn't quite on 2010 GT1 pace on a single flyer.

EDIT: Soulet and Muller into the 2:18s right away. And Kumpen the fastest 1st sector of the race...
