Altough it was unfair, seems that nothing can stop TGF to break records and win another WDC.

Maybe some of us noticed he was faster than Ralf in qualification.
Maybe some of us noticed Ralf could not pass him during the first stint.
Maybe some of us noticed that Ralf stayed behind him during the second pitstop.

How many chances does Ralf need?

Or do you mean it was gifted to him because each of his 21 opponents was slower today?

Well maybe some drivers would just go for broke, T-bone their opponent into the gravel and ruin both their races but others are smarter than that...

Both Williams drivers turned faster laps.

Mickey Mouse rules are still Mickey Mouse rules. They are applied to everyone the same. In contrast to Ralf going completely over the white line, Michael did not go over the white line, he merely drove on it.

Personally, a 10 second penalty is too harsh this violation. I have always been a "no harm-no foul" kind of guy but FIA likes to create Mickey Mouse rules and directly manipulate race outcomes with them.

But, had the cheating and rule-breaking not been allowed to go unpunished, Ralf would have won that race and Juan Pablo would have come second, because TGF was already beginning to panic at that point (according to Speedvision) and make mistakes under pressure.

It is not only THAT you win. It is HOW you win. And a win that is obtained by rule-breaking and by your team leaning on the stewards to punish your only competitor, is a win without honour.

For those who would rather win dishonorably and by risking the lives of all other competitors even if they are your brother, then TGF is your champion.

For those of us with honour and sportsmanship as our standards, he fails the test.

Oh sure... i guess MICHAEL SAW HIS BROTHER DRIVE OVER THE WHITE LINE AND SCREAMED INTO THE RADIO TO GET HIS BROTHER GIVEN A PENALTY??

And taking into account how MS managed to keep Ralf behind for so many laps in the start...and Ferrari keeping their car ahead in the pits... would you bet your kids future that if Ralf have no penalty, Ralf would have won?

And i guess its a pre-race agreement between MS and Ralf...the one who came out of the pits 2nd would have to self-incur a penalty. No body told Ralf to cross the white line!!! He took himself out of the race...and so, i believe MS fully deserve this victory. How he won, nice and proper. And as for Juan, he had no chance of out performing any of the Schueys today.

LIZ: YOU ARE THE BEST AND I AGREE WITH YOU 100%!

GTR: maybe TG****er didn't cross the white line coming OUT of the pits, but you must be blind not to have seen him DELIBERATELY cut across the track INTO the pit entrance in a futile attempt to psyche out his brother, a much more honorable driver. And in case you didn't know, cutting across THAT white line calls for a penalty as well. Check out EATAPC's thread on FIA rules and then think of a retort as to why the officials decided to let that infraction go.

BTW, how much is Ferrari paying the FIA? - and how much is TGF paying all of you people who whole-heartedly support a self-admitted CHEAT?

geez...did i at any point say he did not cut pass the white line coming into the pit lane? And unfortunately, i think Michael knows what he is doing when he did that...

and...is he the ONLY driver to do that...? And how to you explain cars cutting the pit entry dividing line at Brazil? Should all be disqualified or penalised??

if anyone can say michael is NOT the best, then they must be watching the wrong sport or something...coz if ya can say that, it sure aint F1 you're watching.

isn't that the point exactly? Whereas others may have passed the line (although, watching the race again, i havn't noticed any doing it as blatantly and as dangerously as MS), MS did so deliberately and dangerously. It was a obvious infraction of the FIA rule (again, see EATAPC's thread) that was overlooked by biased officials.

Granted MS is a talented and quick driver. But balls and subsewuently wins don't substitute honor and safety in a sport that epitomizes itself as being the pinnacle of motoracing in every aspect. Save the cheating for CART, MS.

If you think TGF is the greatest sportsman of all time, you are under the age of 25.

And if you think TGF is not capable of screaming into the radio for his team to "do something to help me out", then recall to mind the Silverstone accident in which he ended up with a broken leg because he was screaming into the radio for them to make Eddie move over for him, and could not as a result hear them telling him the race had been red flagged.

Ralf would have won if the race stewards had any continuity with their punishments. In this case we have:

"You crossed a white line and your name is not Michael Schumacher. Go to jail, go directly to jail, do not pass GO, do not collect £200..."

TGF should have had two stop-go penalties (three if you count his startline infringement). But as this is not the way F1 works, TGF gets away scot-free with whatever he does, no matter how dangerous it is.

stewards make mistakes....

not enforcing rule on tgf was a miss..

that does't justify giving ralf a free pass.

the reality is given the rule.. jpm should have won the race.

but...mistakes happen.

f1 is getting sadder and sadder when the only chance for one driver to pass another for the win (at most modern tracks) is when they pit, regardless of whitelines etc. I bet j todt was quick to scream into his mic to the FIA once ralf's infringement was the noticed. As I get to watch F1 in the middle of the night in New Zealand, I often wonder why I F*****g bother when races are that boring

I am just a little curious why all the fire is directed at Michael, esp the pit entry issue. Jacques Villeneuve for one also cut through into the pit lane almost a replica of MS's move in the same race and i am sure there are a few which we did not observe. But why only MS is charged with dangerous and cheating?

I guess judging from YOUR standards...nice little Jacques is as potent...and i BET BAR had a conspiracy with the FIA too...they must have special previlges for world champions...
