Courtney ran real well here last year...I think he may be in with a good shot of the win....Other than that, I think Tander might make a come back.

Who cares as long as they aren't from Team Tom. Anyone else i'd watch. I'd prefer to see Steve Owen or Paul Morris win than see the Tom cars go 1234 or 2345 lap after lap without having a go at each other.

Jack Perkins had the right idea having a go at Shane Price yesterday

Well put, TSR. Of course, you perhaps think a little more and don't put the self-elation of seeing yourself sit at the top of the topic board (Pinned I think it is known as) for the whole period of time until a few days after the next event in the same way that other see it.

Of course, such actions don't see a deserving, witty, and appropriate title to the said thread(s) make it to print unfortunately. Well done for your effort though.

Even though I am a holden fan, I'd like to see Ingall fire up. He put a good performance in race 3 in Darwin, and if he has spare parts at his disposal, he could return to the enforcer ways.

His boss told him to extract his digit, and he was fired up himself. Bring it on if he gets anywhere near Davison...

As far as a Holden pick, Skaifes new toy is fast. He caught up Todd and the Toll cars pretty quick in race 3, hes got plenty of pace and I think he can put it to good use.

feel free to get the thread name changed, i don't feel elation and mess my pants at the fact my name is at the top of the topic board i do it because i thought the people like to discuss the round in preview perhaps know the real reason why a person does something before you say the reason you think it is, atleast TSR had a prefered title and posted it and didn't have a dig at the poster remember the rule "have a go at the post not the poster" but i don't see you comming up with a witty appropriate title but using someone else as an example maybe have sugestion and simply say what TSR said.

of coarse such actions see a deserving and witty and if people like that title it can be changed.

maybe you could come up with a so-called witty appropriate deserving title for next round.

Whose points will blip after their trip to the clip.

1st. Skaife (hungry after the disappointment of Darwin)
2nd. Lowndes (he looks to been in a better mindset)
3rd. Courtney (he has the pace and I think will surprise here)

Realistically though, Todd, Rick, Garth, Davison, Whincup, Ingall, Tander will all be strong there and qualifying will more than likely decide as much as the racing will.

The only good part if it rains at the track is there will not be mud bogs for the spectators like at most other circuits. The grandstand spectators will get wet though.... unlike at Sandown, Bathurst & Eastern Creek.

Dont know about that GTR. Ive was there one year where the drunks were slip n slidin down the muddy spectator mound at the southern end.

I reckon 888 are on their game, it could well be:

Lowndes
Whincup
Skaife
Tander

wow 6 years! Doesn't it get boring from November to September each year?

Sorry, couldn't help it.

Bring on the Walkinshaw juggernaut. I think Rick might surprise a few people and actually win one this time....

And pretty lonely, too.

Very good, rombles.

So, how are things down Gippsland way, Pecky? Not too much rain or mud bogs now, I hope.

I want to see Lowndes, Whincup or Winterbottom in the top 3 at the end of the weekend. Not because they are Fords but because it would close up the championship.

A lot of us would. For mine, even as an ardent Holden supporter, I'd be happy to see those three fill the podium, for a couple of reasons.

i wouldn't mind seeing a few surprises, Murph returning to the podium, Jnr getting a podium and Lee Holdsworth aheiving his first podium with Davo and JC to lock out the top 5..

yes it was a good come back. or touche as they say in the old movies

had to try 3 different ways to get to work, to think i nearly bought a house in one of those areas that was underwater. the good news is that there reducing water restrictiones necxt week, apparantly the dam being full is not enough to get back to no restrictions
