Daytona 500
I've just worked out that I am in Florida on the 14th Feb and that is the day of Daytona 500 so I was thinking of going. I have never been to a NASCAR event so have no idea what to expect. I have looked on the website and see that you can still get tickets around the back for $55 which seems pretty good. Does anyone know where I can find a timetable for the event as I have been struggling so far? Any other opinions, feedback that is relevant would be gratefully appreciated...? Thanks.

Thankyou. Is there really nothing in the way of support races on the Sunday? Its just the Daytona 500 and thats it?

that's correct...no other race on Sunday. in fact, nothing on track, i believe.
i am sure there is always "entertainment" in the infield, fans, shows, etc., but nothing in the way racing... |
