Si Frowen should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hello NSSCC chaps,

I've been offered a car for sale that was built for the NSSCC a few years ago, and wondered if anybody knew anything about it?

It is a white Fiesta XR2i (the mk3 shape, circa 1993) running a 2 litre Zetec on Webers. No race number, but the car is white with a small bonnet scoop (Impreza style) and orange stripes/wing mirrors.

All info gratefully received - thanks!

anyone looking at the draft Mallory timetable on the DDMC site, there is a good chance it will change as the sevenesque series is supposed to be saturday only racing.

BARC sent them out late according to an Email from Lesley - You pick them up on the gate
Also the schedule has changed - we are all qualifying together, but I havent a clue when?
Might be worth checking the BARC website

I take that back - Waste of time. Mallory says reffer to BARC site, BARC site says details to follow

Managed to open the word attachement on my phone, we all qualify together at 10:20
Mind you I'm out first with Sevenesque so no lie in for me

I have posted some photos of Mallory on this board if anyone's interested. I was only there on Saturday. They are on a thread called Mallory classic touring cars.

First time I've been at an event with the NSSC and I'd like to say I really enjoyed the racing.

I was up on the start gantry (in the rain...) as Deputy Chief Flag for the day. Watching the variety of cars - and particularly the massive difference in power & handling! - was very entertaining from up on high

Thanks Andy. I really enjoyed your warm up lap burn out coming out of the hairpin. Very nice. It reminded me of Mick Hill recovering from a spin there in his VW super saloon back in the day. Big V8 and lots of wheel spin.

Looking forward to breaking my duck with you all.
Self built car which has taken too long to build but is all my own work.

I have spent a year shaking down and testing and I have finally ran out of excuses not to race..

I hope you will all be gentle with me and bear in mind my lack of experience and the cars advancing years..1968 so it is 47 years old this year. I hope you can all show me the way round and give me something to hang on to..Hopefully I won't be too much of a mobile chicane.

look forward to meeting a few of you..

Neil.

Hi.
I am entered in H and plan to race on Yoko AO32's 60 profile which are also series reg tyres for Swinging 60's in CSCC. The car has also been on M sections when running in Fia Spec as was until they changed the rules around TVR griffiths

I have only ever tested at croft on M sections and ran to a 1.45 or so, so I am not sure where in the pack I am when considering power output of around 295hp and 6k rev limit and most importantly my ability probably near the rear!!

I didn't realise the A and B lads were on Slicks. Must be some big speed differences around the circuit

The car is a very honest period correct race car, rather than some of the big buck specials out there at the moment..Hopefully I wont get in too many peoples way when they are coming through.

N.

Hi and welcome to the nsscc
Class A1 and A2 run on slicks or wets the rest of us all run on 1A/1B tyres
1 .45 round croft will deffo give you a race with others around you

I am hoping to be 2 or 3 seconds quicker on new sticky rubber, Hopefully some bum time in seat will get me a little quicker again.. I am told 1.40 is a good time to aim for in my car??

maybe if I can get somewhere there that will get me a bit further up the pack..

Not being DFL is my initial target though.
