Jackman should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
He's sitting at home in Australia waiting for a drive, but with no budget that's unlikely, sadly.

That's what happens to junior drivers who think the world owes them a living.

"Quite rich" in ordinary terms is still not enough to get a racing seat - the simple rule is to not spend your own money!

However, he's not going to find a budget "sitting at home".

He (and his family) are fairly well off. However, they seem to expect others to invest thier money in Rob's immense talent.

Going by the Melbourne White Pages Phone Directory... if every Nguyen in Australia gave him a dollar... he'd have enough money for a F1 seat

It's not that he thinks the world owes him a living - he simply has no money to go racing, like so many other people. He ended up taking a Formula 4000 (read, Holden) drive because the promoter gave him the seat for free, but the car was a dog and it has effectively killed his career - you don't have the speed that Nguyen had in Formula 3000 and then forget how to drive a Formula Holden, but with no money there is little chance he'll get another drive.

Very sad because he had almost no experience when he started F3000 and he was pretty fast. A couple of years in Formula Ford and a couple of years in Formula 3 would have helped a lot. But he started F3000 after a couple of races in formula Volkswagen... He burned out before he could rust...
