There are threads about it elsewhere on this site and one or two others but you've probably discovered them. Here's one

It just occured to me - does this year's champion get a Williams test? Because Williams have already used their Young Driver days with Bottas last week.

It is being stated that he will so 2 or 3 possibilities here. Either they still run it at the end of this season but in an older chassis, perhaps somewhere like the south circuit at Silverstone, as I don't believe (though someone may correct me) that the prize has to be awarded in the current car or they simply hold it over until next seasons YDT or even use up one of the pre-season test days.

Well done to Tuscher, fully deserved win.

As for Flavio, he seems to be against most single seater series, if he was in Gerhard Bergers position of streamilining the path to F1, he would have Formula Vee Junior, Super Formula Vee and he even get Formula One turned into Formula 1 Vee!

As for his comments on Young Tuscher, he is not like your typical 15 year old, he is very dedicated and very focussed at what he is doing. He has a good manager who is looking after him well. He took pole at the first race meeting of the year and he followed that up with another two poles, his win was very well deserved. I will say this, he is the one to watch and in a few year time we may very well end up seeing him in F1.

Shame that Tuscher got T-Boned by Marinescu in Hungary, this probably cost him a real shot at the championship at Monza.

What next for Bacheta? WSR? GP2? I hope he manages to get a drive in one of these championships.

He's testing in Formula Renault 3.5 next week, and I think he's secured some new sponsors, so as long as the budget stretches, I think Formula Renault 3.5 would be a realistic target for him. I hope it happens for him.

It has been alarmingly quiet hasn't it? Last week's Autosport reported that Double R were interested entering with Daniel McKenzie and Axcil Jefferies, if it was opened up to teams.

Saw a rumour on twitter just now saying that it had been canned for 2013.

If it's true, I hope the mechanics that F2 employs find new jobs soon, as they do a great job and work really hard for the drivers.

It was about time to kill off this non-sense Formula Mosley. RIP; you will not be missed.
