Boston Herald article suggests that a Verizon IndyCar Series street race in Boston could be in the works. Interesting that it suggests the race could be Labor Day Weekend 2016. |

Houston's Reliant Park is out for 2015. Maybe Ellington Field? New Orleans looks good. Mosport is a possible replacement for Toronto. The checks haven't cleared for either Brazil or Dubai. |

In a followup to the Racer article, Toronto Star talked to City staff. In addition to the CTMP as mentioned by Racer, Mt. Tremblant and a range of dates from late May to late June mentioned bycity staff in this Star story. CTMP says they haven't been contacted IndyCar officials.

Did anyone hear the new 2015 schedule rumors?
1. There will be about 18 races 2. Houston is out 3. Toronto is probably out 4. Probable replacements: Dubai, Mosport, and Brazil. Too bad. Houston seemed like a good street track. |

Regarding Mont Tremblant - I had thought that there were serious noise restrictions on that track, it being in a kind of chi-chi resort neighbourhood now (more or less). It's a fabulous track but surely it can't be viable for a whole weekend of racing?
Also, although it would probably draw a good crowd (Quebecers being notoriously rabid motorsports fans), I'd also understood there isn't a whole lot of spectator access around the track. Anyone who knows better care to comment? Don't get me wrong, it would be awesome, but I can't see it happening. And who would promote the race? Surely not Green Savoree, with no history at the facility and a base of operations far away. |

Karam shows a lot of promise, Vautier looked imo to be a raw but talented package (much like Will Power at the start of his career), whilst JK didn't even get a showing. Btw, any chance of Hawksworth, Harvey and Conway teaming up to form the GB road course specialist team?
