HSV-010 adopts not the side exhaust but a rear exhaust.
The mount of a rear wing has expanded from a rear bumper. (but has not Swan neck) |

I find the HSV to be pretty ugly actually. Though I wouldn't mind seeing one in ACO spec.

Four team participated in the Suzuka test.
Apparently, the driver lineup seems to change. It is uncertain whether Team Real participate in the next season. Team Test driver 09 driver ARTA(#8,BS) Ralph Firman/Yuji Ide (Firman/Izawa) DOME(#18,BS) Takashi Kogure/Loic Duval (Michigami/Kogure) Nakajima(#32,DL) Ryo Michigami/Yuki Nakayama (Duval/Nakayama) Kunimitsu(#100,BS) Takuya Izawa/Naoki Yamamoto (Ide/Hosokawa) |

Agreed. I also don't like the boxy aero parts, but this new Honda is especially ugly. The headlights look generic, as well as just about everything else. It looks like a 10-year old designed it.

I don't like the V8/V10 (whatever it is) engine rule.
Variety is the spice of life and they just removed some of the life from the GT500 class.. |

Actually come to think of it, to me it stinks of the 3.5L WSC formula.

S-GT seems to have acquired a new entrant.
And, the race of S-GT might be held in Singapore. http://www.melvinchoo.com/news_extra.php?id=42 |

JAF and S-GT are usually adverse to overseas entries. Lets see how do they behave now. Who is going to take care of the car? Martin Short gang or Melvin's malay mechanics?
First they need to build the permanent track. It will take a while! |

I-dea(publisher of AUTOSPORT) published the magazine book of the title "NSX-GT 1997-2007".
http://as-web.jp/autosport/issue_info.php?no=255 The gear train of NSX-GT was first open to the public in this magazine book. To improve the weight balance, the gearbox of NSX-GT is in front of the engine.(since 2003) The propeller shaft (They call it coupling shaft) that connects the gearbox with the axle is located between V-bank of the engine.(since 2005) In a word, it is located between the engine and the air box! |
