Hey Sam, heard anything about a replacement race for the 1000k next year? It would be a crime if the GT500 cars had even fewer races next year.

The 1000km has only been a Super GT round for 10 years anyways. Traditionally Suzuka was a season opening or season ending 300km race.

GTA will adopt on-board live cam (safety car, official car, etc) in J-sports broadcasting from SUGO round.

Since NISMO TV uses the host broadcaster's pictures, I have a strong feeling we'll be seeing some onboard shots.

They mention onboards for the official vehicles and the safety car - nothing for the competitors just yet?

Berger's comment
Class 1 World Championship is not our focus.
Our biggest focus is in the current series, not in the FIA's new world championship.
Our target is to strengthen the platform (of DTM), enable a good race and have rules to make fans come.

It is natural comment as ITR's chairperson.
He says that DTM isn't swallowed by Class 1 race series of FIA.

I'd love to see Class 1 again but I really don't want Super GT to be changed by ITR, the championship is great as it is and I don't want the series to be damaged by a Class One that might fizzle out after one or two years due to manufacturers pulling the pin when they don't win.

They've already fundamentally changed it. The cars and the engines SGT currently uses are both changes that were supposed to be taken by BOTH SGT and DTM for the Class 1 ruleset but the Germans backed out of it.
