ITV re-run
I would just like to take this opportunity to publicly thank ITV for totally ruining a race that could have kept me on the edge of the seat.
Before the rerun of the race Jim Rosenthan said "this morning we saw an exciting and emotional race". It didn't take much thinking to "predict" that Webber was going to score in his debut race and when he was under pressure from Salo there was never any question that he Webber would remain in front. Also for some reason the replay had been edited. Yes, the pre-race show was cut, but more annoyingly parts of the race were chopped. |

On the plus side though, they redid some of the commentary. When DC went off just before the 2nd restart, Louise was interviewing Ralf. The interview continued while Montoya passed Michael. They redid this for the rerun and did a pretty good job of making it sound like they were seeing it for the first time.
