British Hot Rod Team practising at Hednesford raceway in Staffordshire. John Withington watches the drivers in action.
Description:
We see two Mk1 Ford Escort cars being tested on the circuit at Hednesford. John Withington talks to driver Trevor Shaw who was having trouble getting his Mini to start in the damp conditions. Withington also talks to team captain Tom Laffey about what makes a good Hot Rod racer.
