sportproto should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
25 M20 were sold in 2004 and probably 10-15 will be sold in 2005.
Too much work for a such small company to imagine that they could
build a LMP2 in the 2-3 next years. And the M20 is a very attractive
and competitive car in CN version.
They only want to sell the Le Mans 2003 car (the M2000-Ford)

The M20 turned out to be a big success for Norma after skipping the LMP900-Project
I suppose they concentrate like Osella or PRC on earning money first before realising an expensive LMP2-programme.

Even if they earn money, I think they should prefer to be present in CIP or ESCC championship rather than build a LMP2. But if a good team wants to fund a project, Norbert Santos will be certainly interested in.

2004 M20 built list :
- VdeV Endurance Moderne + Coupe de France : 11 "2 liters" cars
- French Hillclimbing Championship : 3 "2 liters cars" + 2 "3 liters" cars
- Sport Driving School (Extreme Limite, in Nantes) : 7 "moto" cars

A BMW (M3) 3 liters
Various engines were fitted in the "2 liters" : mainly the Honda, but also the Renault (from Formula Renault 2000). In the "moto" version, it's a Honda 954 CBR but also Suzuki Hayabusa.

230hp means a little less for me. Most of the current C3-PRCĀ“s are powered now with 280hp Opel F3-blocks.
A Honda CN-block like this one sets free 240 hp yet (pictured in the back of an Osella PA21S):

What would a Renault F3-block without restrictor be capable of?

This Honda engine is the same for the Norma M20.
The Renault one is fitted in training cars and I don't know its full power.
