Bit of a RWD specialist.... how about Cammish in this mystical BMW that Team Parker may or may not have?

im not sure Cammish would be "plug and play" enough for Dynamics, no BTCC experience, little FWD experience and the Porsche cup (which i accept he has dominated for 3 or 4 years) is very different racing.
Reason i suggested Parker racing with the BMW they may have, is he did race with them before in British GT so there is a possible connection already, and would keep him in RWD. I do agree tho that I can see him going GT/WEC route rather than touring cars Last edited by btccbloke; 13 Feb 2018 at 21:35. |

excluding the wild Jackson theories who is "plug and play" left for Dynamics ?
old hand Gio , maybe young gun Moffat ?? all the plug and play drivers are already signed .... seems Shedden should have left earlier so Dynamcs had time to sign replacement |

Gio's name has come up a couple of times but he did nothing in his last BTCC outings in 2014 to prove he still has it.
If Jackson doesnt come off I dont know who they will get who will be capable of getting in the car and delivering a championship challenge straight away |

Gio admitted himself that he never really came to grips with that NGTC Focus but the BTCC drivers said that the new NGTC parts feel much more like the old S2000 cars so who knows , given the chance he might do much better

It would be a MASSIVE gamble for Dynamics and could essentially mean writing off a season getting a guy up to speed who might well hang up his helmet in a couple of years. What has Gio even been doing since 2014?
At least with Jackson they have a fair few years left in him so could lead the team when the tall guy finally goes. Moffat would be an interesting choice, hes won a couple of races on merit but is he ready to start a championship challenge? personally i don't think so but how about Jackson and Moffat for 2019 |

Gio raced in 2017 TCR Italy in a one off , appereantly race 1 finished 8th and 2nd race 4th
the question is who is plug and play left as all the options are taken by the other teams and TOC supposedly unavailable too sure they could take the gamble on an unproven young gun if everything else fails but considering they need to develop a new car that's not a good idea... |

We’ll see what Cammish does, I feel maybe Moffat could be in that second Dynamics car, best option ATM

Right, this Dynamics twatter countdown mallarkey: for those not watching (i.e. with a life!), every two days an old motor is shown, getting one year newer each time. So the 2015 car on the 11th, the 2016 car today. If the pattern continues then this years motor will reveal on Saturday 17th...
Sight of a Knockhill sticker would suggest a talented young Scotsman... |

So Matt Neal has tweeted Shedden's replacement announcement is due Thursday, followed by Matt Salisbury and other journos posting gifs on Twitter suggesting something quite surprising/amazing...
In other news, does 2+2=5? 😂 |

You probably have a contract with your employer but would negotiate walking away if a better offer came along
Do they want a driver who doesn't really want to be there? Bottas had a contract with Williams a couple of years ago but it was negotiated for him to leave and move up the ladder joining Mercedes when one of the big names left F1, maybe this is much like the situation we are in now? ...stranger things have happened my friend |

Please stop teasing me with the mentions of Dan Cammish! I think he would be a fantastic addition to the already amazing driver lineup we have this year. I guess there is a link there with Tim Harvey previously having worked for Dynamics.
Would be slightly gutted to see Mat Jackson go to Dynamics, it would be a great lineup at Motorbase with him in it. Either way, what an entertaining silly season it's been so far. |
